ADA ROOK is a solo pop musician currently based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Formerly half of the acclaimed Toronto noise pop duo Black Dresses, her sound is focused on the rich intersection of discarded cultural trash and otherworldly longing beyond words. Stitching brash pop hooks together with fragments of grindcore, bedroom pop, and industrial, Rook's patchwork sound has been praised in various publications (The Needle Drop, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Xtra Magazine) and was featured in the hit 2023 indie film Red Rooms.
